A release party for the new CD La Part du Feu was held on Tuesday, October 6, at Cabaret du Lion d’Or in Montréal. A warm and attentive crowd (300+) gathered for the occasion, which turned out to be an unforgettable event. You can see highlights of the evening in our Photo Gallery.

Richard Boisvert penned a very nice article in the Arts & Entertainment section of the newspaper Le Soleil (November 19 edition). “On December 10 & 11, 8pm, Le Vent du Nord will share the stage of the Grand Théâtre with the OSQ for an unheard-of symphonic adventure. The idea was tested in a scaled-down format in Portland, Maine, in 2007.… The boys more or less knew what to expect, but they say the four pieces orchestrated by Tom Myron, an American, were extremely well received. The reception was so positive, in fact, that they decided to repeat and expand the experience. So the Québec performance will be a first.” Read the whole story (in French) here:
